A friend mentioned http://p777sport.com/ the other day when we were looking for live sports streams. The site has a pretty straightforward layout that lists various matches and events, mostly focused on football and basketball. I clicked around a bit and found some games running with decent quality, though you do have to tolerate a few pop-up ads. It's not the most polished platform, but for catching a random game without a cable subscription, it seems to do the job.
